Additional notesNorton Cemetery was originally owned by Norton Parish Council. The first burial took place on 6 June 1869 and to date over 18,700 burials have taken place in the cemetery. The cemetery covers 6 acres. Types of graves available Existing family graves can be reopened to allow further interments with the authority of the present grave owner. New graves are not available at this cemetery. All records and plans for this cemetery are retained at City Road Cemetery Offices.
