ParkingCar Parking spaces for 60 cars, with a large grassed area available as an overflow car park.
AccessibilityNo steps and disabled toilet. There is a loop system in the chapel for the hard of hearing.
Public transportA limited bus service passes us on route to the nearby village of Risby, but it is usually necessary to travel by car or taxi.
Service timesWe start services at 8.30 and continue every 45 minutes until the last service at 4.30. The actual time allowed for the service is 25 minutes, and this gives us plenty of time to prepare for the new funeral.
Chapel seatingOur chapel is available for services and we can seat 100 comfortably with standing for an additional 50. Further standing space is available in the foyer and waiting room, where the service is relayed via speakers.
RefreshmentsNone available at the moment, but a Tea Shop is planned for the future.

Additional notesWest Suffolk Crematorium opened in 1989 and in the years that have followed we have blossomed into a beautiful and mature site. Cherry blossom flowers during the spring months, followed by roses and summer bedding from June onwards. We have the appearance of a park or garden, rather than a crematorium grounds.

Burial Fees & Memorial Permissions
Burial charges and memorial permit fees are different. Confirm current charges directly with the authority.
Published costs and feesOur fee for 2012 is £635, but this year we have introduced a couple of discounted slots, for those families on a budget, or who do not have the need for the full use of our facilities. We now have an 8.30 slot for £500, where the coffin is brought through the chapel, but no service or music is available. There is also a 9.00 slot at a fee of £535, where a full service can take place, but by using one of our least popular times, we can offer this discount.
